Dizziness

A condition usually divided into lightheadedness and vertigo.  Lightheadedness is often caused by decreased blood flow to the brain.  Vertigo is usually caused by a neurological or middle ear problem.  Tests to further determine the cause of dizziness or syncope include a Heads Up Tilt Table Test to determine the effect of standing on blood pressure and heart rate, heart rhythm including monitoring or an electrophysiology study to further define the cause of dizziness.
